My child needs help with…

Anger

Anger

Does your child find it difficult to control their anger?

Anger is an expression of emotions, it is usually underpinned by an emotion that your child is not able to express because they do not have the words, or because they don’t themselves understand how they feel.

Reassure your child that it is ok to be angry, but it is also important that you ensure they know that destructive behaviour as a result of anger is not the best way to deal with their feelings.

Emotion Coaching is a strategy that can help.
