What does the NottAlone training cover?
Developed by a range of local experts including young people, parents carers and school staff, the NottAlone training will cover:
- An overview of the 8 Principles of Promoting a Whole School/College Approach to Emotional Health and Wellbeing
- Support from local experts in evaluating your current practice across these principles and planning a bespoke programme of training and support for your schools, building on your existing knowledge and strengths
- Introducing the NottAlone website, a single online source of advice, information and links to services supporting young people’s mental health in Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City
How much does the training cost?
The total cost of the training course for each Senior Mental Health Lead is £800 and you can apply for a DfE training grant of up to £1200 to fund this training and expenses e.g. staff cover. If you have any queries about the DfE grant, please contact MentalHealth.LeadTraining@education.gov.uk.
